Elance

Since the beginning of my virtual assistant business, I have depended on Elance for finding clients in need of virtual assistance. I appreciate the high number (and variety) of the job posts. You can search for one-time gigs or long term clients. The bidding process is also straight forward. I have found, however, that there can be a lot of low bids from other service providers which tend to undermine the high value that VAs provide. My recommendation: don't rely on Elance alone to find good clients -- but it is a good resource to have on hand.
